By creating an account or using LabelGuardian (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Not medical advice

LabelGuardian is an informational assistant that helps you read and interpret food labels, barcodes, menus, and dishes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It can make mistakes, miss ingredients, misread a photo, or rely on incomplete data. Always read the physical product label yourself and consult a qualified medical professional about your allergies and dietary needs. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

3. Use at your own risk

A scan result is a best-effort estimate, not a guarantee. You are responsible for confirming that any product is safe for you before consuming it. You use the Service at your own risk.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the dietary profile you set up. Provide a profile that reflects your real restrictions so checks are meaningful.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to harm others. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LabelGuardian and its operators are not liable for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or other harm arising from reliance on a scan result or use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
